This home test is designed to detect IgA antibodies against tissue transglutaminase (tTG), which is a key marker of coeliac disease. The test is performed using a small blood sample from the fingertip and gives a quick indication of a possible immune reaction related to gluten.
Intended use
Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten that can cause inflammation of the small intestine. The test may be relevant for symptoms such as long-lasting digestive complaints, fatigue, unintended weight loss or a skin rash. For an accurate result, we recommend having a regular intake of gluten in the weeks before testing.
