This home test is designed for the rapid detection of key indicators of a urinary tract infection. It measures leukocytes (white blood cells), blood, nitrite and protein in urine and serves as a first step when a UTI is suspected.
Intended use
A urinary tract infection (often called cystitis) is a common condition that can affect the urethra, the bladder, or in more serious cases the kidneys. The test can be used for symptoms such as a burning sensation when urinating, a frequent urge to urinate, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, and pain in the lower abdomen. It indicates whether the urine contains markers associated with an infection.
