This test is designed for the rapid, semi-quantitative detection of C-reactive protein (CRP) in whole blood, serum or plasma. It is used as an aid in assessing inflammatory conditions and can give an indication of the degree of the inflammatory response. The test's cut-off value is 10 µg/mL.
