SAVD påviser alle sirkulerende mutanter av SARS-CoV-2

The SARS-CoV-2 test SAVD is continuously validated against new variants emerging globally.

The latest report of 19 July 2021 shows that all circulating variants of the coronavirus are detected by SAVD, as there are no mutations in the ORF1ab gene that SAVD targets. This means the SAVD test retains 100% specificity and 99% sensitivity.

The manufacturer monitors this continuously and publishes regular reports.
